Trexin Consulting is currently seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Event Management Product Architect to join our team and consult at one of our Healthcare clients. Key Areas of Responsibility: Responsible for leading the architectural patterns, high-level design consulting, and integration support of ServiceNow ITOM integrations across the organization. Product Architect role will be responsible for understanding and having expert knowledge of the core capabilities and technical considerations required to effectively integrate and maintain the ServiceNow ITOM platform capabilities. Responsible for supporting application team architects and enterprise architect in best practice design and implementation including communicating limitations of platform Responsible for supporting, suggesting, or verifying use of ServiceNow ITOM in larger in larger system architectures Will work directly with technical operation product manager, enterprise architecture, and internal application teams to ideate and document requirements Working with the technical operations product manager, responsible for contributing to the infrastructure architecture roadmap and planning, balancing proactive platform enhancements and pattern development with architectural and design support for priority initiatives using ServiceNow ITOM. Accountable for assisting in the development of preliminary product business case(s) aligned to required business capabilities, long term architecture direction, & customer demand. Responsible for supporting the infrastructure product manager in establishing a shared vision with IT portfolio and devops stakeholders by building consensus on priorities and product design. Will provide internal support for incident resolution management of ServiceNow ITOM features Responsible for proposing Event Management patterns and standard implementation for application teams, also working as advocate through documentation and presentation materials to champion use Responsible for supporting platform services, advanced integration or analytics. Responsible for overseeing and implementing event processing rules, event transforms, event automation, event auto assignments, event views, event integration activities, enterprise adoption strategies of ServiceNow Event Management, and show casing strategy to other teams and leadership. Expectation of interfacing with mgmt, assisting with strategy, roadmaps, and designing new functional expansions of the respective tool platforms. Key Desired Skills, Experience and Knowledge: Bachelors degree and 8 years in Information Technology Experience with ServiceNow and ServiceNOW ITOM Module Experience with service oriented architectures and event management Experience with large-scale IT service organization or operations centers Strong understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and related methodologies Strong skills with using architectural symbols, Visio and other architectural design tools to design, read, and support other architects in design efforts Experience with platform architectures and event management such as containers, clusters, distributed systems, hybrid and cloud-based technologies, service hosting, messaging, etc. Experience with data storage of events, logs, and tagged data Experience with use of monitoring and logging data to improve or predict outage or performance loss through reporting, automation, or predictive analytics Experience with large scale data lakes, data warehouse, and other data storage platform logging and event reporting (i.e. Azure, DB2, SQLServer, Teradata, Hadoop,etc) Familiarity with aspects and needs of shared services platforms such as call center, collaboration tools, O365, mobile devices, virtual desktops, Workday, CRM, finance, and HR, etc.Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) Ability to simplify detailed or complex concepts and communicate those concepts to both non-technical roles and other technical specializations Understanding of business priorities (e.g., vision), trends (e.g., industry knowledge) and markets (e.g., existing/ planned) Ability to understand and support strategic vision.
