| Lead UX Designer 9-month contract Gc or USC Remote Potential of conversion to full time employment after 6-12 MONTH Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field or equivalent professional experience. 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and building web and mobile experiences. Strong portfolio demonstrating an outcome-focused, innovative design process. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc. Working knowledge of front-end concepts for dialog with engineering partners. Proven track record of working in Agile environments, delivering high-quality designs within sprint timelines. Experience with generative research and creating solutions supported by strategic insights. Experience with evaluative testing methodologies and User Testing or similar tools to conduct tests. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience building inclusive, accessible experiences and WCAG 2.2 guidelines. Preferred: Previous experience in the financial industry, especially lending. Previous experience working on complex, internal business apps with high information density. Strong team player with exceptional empathy and a positive attitude. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects concurrently.
