Design and create test automation frameworks and tools with specific focus on End-to-End Test Develop automation scripts for End-to-End scenarios and maintaining the automation suites. Design, develop, and execute test plans, write test cases, and test scripts, and define business scenarios. Perform all testing activities and provide initiatives across one or more assigned projects, utilizing testing processes, methods, and software. Work closely with QA/UAT teams to resolve bugs and actively contribute to operations planning, retrospectives, reviews, and release readiness. Coordinate and communicate testing timelines to the Development Lead or Program Manager. Execute multiple types of functional tests (i.e., Smoke, Positive, Negative, Regression fix, Regression risk, Integration, End-to-End, etc.) based on the requirements. Coordinate with Developers and the UAT team to ensure the best outcome of expected results. Track bugs and communicate status updates with the development team regularly. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software, analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action; consult with key stakeholders in resolution of problem. Document and track product testing results and conduct training on the use of automated tools and processes. Quickly become an expert in the System functionality and that of peripheral systems, external systems, and interface to related systems. Ensure the applications used are in full compliance with the best practices of software development, and the highest standards of web development and have the potential to adapt to improvements that will be set forth by upstream sources. Required Education & Experience Must have a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Similar. At least five (5) years of experience in quality assurance testing (.NET framework-based application experience preferred/Java), with at least two (2) years of experience with establishing and executing automated test procedures. Hands-on experience with Selenium automated testing tool is highly preferred. Must have experience with front-end, API and back-end test automation scripting and execution. Experience creating, developing, and executing test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Unit Testing, websites, and testing multiple features to ensure website functions properly and as expected. Experience in writing database queries using SQL Knowledge of all the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies (Scrum experience is preferred). Experience with test planning, strategy, test case development, and test execution. Experience in using Application Lifecycle Management tools, including source and version control (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar).
