Proficient communication skill is a key. They must be able to talk to other IT teams with ease and understanding.  

-Experience in using excel, azure dev boards, SharePoint, and outlook.

-Will be responsible for sending emails, scheduling meetings, getting updates, gathering requirements, creating change requests, speaking in CAB, communicating with other IT teams.

-Must know how to write a technical document that captures the IT requirements. -It's a plus if they know how to use Visio and can create high level diagrams.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Business Analyst with experience in supporting API projects and proficiency in using Visio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and supporting the implementation of API solutions. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design API interfaces, and ensure successful project delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of innovative API solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for API projects.

Document functional specifications, user stories, and process flows using tools such as Visio.

Assist in the design and development of API interfaces, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization in existing API solutions.

Support project managers in project planning, tracking, and reporting on API project deliverables.

Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure successful implementation of API solutions.

Perform testing and validation of API functionalities to ensure adherence to business requirements and quality standards.

Provide support and training to end users on API usage, functionality, and best practices.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to API development and integration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on supporting API projects.

Strong understanding of API concepts, protocols, and integration patterns.

Proficiency in using visualization tools such as Visio to create process flows, diagrams, and documentation.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with API testing tools and techniques is a plus.

Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are desirable.
