| Hello, Role: Firmware Lead Engineer Location: HOUSTON (US:77001), TX Duration: 6-12months Job description: Technical: o Develop embedded C code based on complex flow chart, state diagram to control electromechanical system o Develop firmware stack for RS-485 based communication o Perform bench and lab testing of firmware o Develop product functional requirement and software specification based on customer inputs o Develop software architecture, hardware abstraction and reusable software components o Support and troubleshoot software bugs and issues in customer products used in the field Project Management: o Interface well with other teams to perform root cause analysis and develop proposed solutions to production problems. o Coordinate with customer production engineering and maintenance teams to lead equipment repairs and projects. o Present and justify design decisions in design review meetings Firmware development using Embedded C, Communication protocols - RS485, SPI, I2C, wireless communication - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Microcontrollers - 8/16/32-bit Please let me know if you would like to discuss this compelling opportunity further.
