Title : Sr Systems Admin Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6+ months Client: Pace Exp: 9+ years of exp Must have: Must have transportation/ transit authority exp. Previous team lead or coordinator experience is required. This is a backfill we need the person to be able to communicate well with business holders, the last person did not have this personality seeking a Trapeze System Analyst for a long-term support engagement in Chicago. The specific duties include, but are not limited to: Perform application user management like password resets, new account creations etc. Perform system administrator tasks like setting up new rules, configurations, security etc. Prepare data extracts using SQL or other methods on-demand basis. Participate and conduct meetings with stake holders as needed. Develop test plan, test scripts for all planned and unplanned releases. Document processes and procedures to create a support manual. Assist in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities. Provide on-call support during weekends and off-peak hours as needed. Experience Required Previous team lead or coordinator experience is required. Experience working as a liaison between multiple groups (Client, Vendor & Server support.) 5 plus years of strong functional QA experience 2 plus years of strong SQL query writing skills in SQL Server 3 plus years of using Microsoft office tools like office, access, Visio etc. Knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI, Crystal reports etc. is desirable. Experience using SharePoint or similar tools for issue tracking is required. Understanding of client-server architecture with remote desktop on windows is required.
