| Position Title: SDET Engineer Duration: 1-year Contract Max Pay Rate: $50/hr on C2C Preferred Location(s): Atlanta, Georgia or Minneapolis, Minnesota, need local only ,Hybrid VisA: USC/GC /H4 Client: Delta A irlines Job Description: Qualifications: - 5 to 7 years of IT experience with expertise in test automation of applications from UI and API layers. - Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated UI and API tests using Java, JavaScript, Python, and open-source testing libraries like Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, etc. Knowledge of QT is a plus. - Proficiency in Java, Python, Perl, Shell, Bash, etc. - Familiarity with QML preferred. - Experience with API and Microservices testing and automation. - Knowledge and experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave. - Proficiency in SQL (preferred), Oracle, MySQL, and/or NoSQL databases. - Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes). - Experience automating backend REST services using tools like Postman, REST Assured, Karate, Cypress, Ready API, etc. - Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks using modular framework and design patterns like Page Object Model (POM). - Experience working in distributed agile teams using frameworks such as SCRUM, SAFe, XP, etc. - Proficiency in continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Circle CI. - Ability to independently create and maintain automation test jobs using tools like Jenkins. - Experience with source code management tools like GitLab, GitHub, AWS Code Commit, etc. - Experience creating test reports from automation test runs using tools like Cucumber report, Extent report, etc. - Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Embraces diversity in people, thinking, and styles. - Prioritizes safety and security. - Proactive with a focus on customer satisfaction. Preferred: - Knowledge and experience in the Travel Industry. - Infrastructure automation using Docker and tools like Chef, Puppet, Terraform. - Experience with various AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3 bucket, AWS Code Pipeline, CloudFormation, etc. - Virtualization of services for test automation using tools like Wire Mock, Mockito, etc. - Experience with test management and agile management tools like VersionOne, qTest, etc. - Experience with container orchestration tools like Docker, RED Hat OpenShift, AWS CloudFormation. - Experience with non-functional testing such as performance, load, stress, security, accessibility, and usability testing. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, execute, and maintain software to test the product/application. - Define automation strategy, cases, and design tools for unit, functional, and performance testing programmatically. - Participate in design and code inspections. - Propose improvements to existing processes and build automated tools, libraries, and utilities to enhance team speed, quality, and efficiency. - Write testing code to expose defects in production-level code and defects at the component and feature integration perspective. - Work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI to back-end distributed web services. - Own the design and implementation of tests to ensure end-to-end quality of major deliverables, collaborating closely with multiple engineers and teams. - Integrate tests and infrastructure automation into the CI/CD pipeline. - Contribute to agile development teams following 12 Factor application development principles.
