Job Title: Systems Engineer (Puppet) Location: Remote but must in CA Duration of project: 6 months+ Required visa: Any visa (Except H1B and CPT) Mode of Interview: Video Need Local Consultant of California Manager Internal Notes: We are moving our San Diego Data Center to AWS Need a Puppet master who know old school puppet 3-6 and Red hat 6-8 some scripting/automation Must-Have: puppet environment installations/upgrades puppet playbooks/config/modules Specifically I need someone who is/was an administrator of a puppet environment not a devops person who uses puppet to automate their stuff. Job Description Design and implement the deployment pipeline for continuous delivery of code and configuration changes the Puppet pipeline Automation of the provisioning and management of Linux servers Experience maintaining, developing and automating large clusters using configuration tools with Puppet Strong practical Linux Redhat systems administration skills in a cloud or virtualized environment Prior experience of operating highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions Strong hands-on experience in any of the scripting language Shell, Perl, Python, or Ruby Knowledge on distributed applications/enterprise applications is plus. Deep, working knowledge of web, database, and OS server configuration (Linux, Apache, JBoss and MySQL preferred platforms) Document process from conception to completion.
