Any visa. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Must have skills are: Tibco BW Tibco EMS Upgradation Experience - Upgrade experience from Tibco ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6.6 or higher to 6.10 Tibco Integration Experience Tibco Administration Position: TIBCO BW/EMS Upgrade Consultant/Admin Location: Remote - USA Type of Employment: Long Term Contract Rate: Market (Please be competitive) Purpose of the Position : Position will help the customer upgrade the TIBCO Platform to version 6.10 Key Result Areas and Activities: An Integration platform SME is responsible for collaborating with various application teams to upgrade the TIBCO BW to version 6.10 to continue the smooth running of sustainable integration solutions to meet business needs and add significant business value. Perform QA for the existing applications when migrating the applications to latest version. Integration SME also ensures that integration platforms are up to date on product releases and that the environments provide the features and capacity needed to allocate new solutions. May telecommute from any location in the U.S. The base version required for this upgrade scenario is ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6.6 or higher. As a TIBCO Upgrade Specialist, your primary focus will be on enhancing and maintaining TIBCO environments, ensuring seamless transitions to newer versions, and optimizing system performance. Lets delve into the specifics: Responsibilities: Version Upgrades : Lead and execute TIBCO product upgrades, including TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW), TIBCO Enterprise Messaging Service (EMS), and other components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, test, and implement upgrades. Compatibility Assessment : Evaluate the impact of upgrades on existing applications, interfaces, and integrations. Ensure backward compatibility and address any issues arising from version changes. Hands-On : Perform hands-on coding with TIBCO Active Matrix (AMX) BW, TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS), TIBCO HAWK as needed for Proof-of-concept validations and in guiding other team members Design: Work with Solution Architects and Business Unit tech leads to analyze requirements and define the high-level design Performance Testing : Conduct thorough performance testing after upgrades to validate system stability, scalability, and responsiveness. Documentation and Training : Create detailed documentation for upgrade processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guidelines. Define and own strategy for SW deployment, work on automation of deployments. Train team members on new features and functionalities. Monitoring and Support : Monitor post-upgrade environments, address any issues promptly, and provide ongoing support to users and development teams. Security and Compliance : Implement security patches and ensure compliance with organizational policies during upgrades. Work and Technical Experience: Must-Have: Minimum 5 years hands on development of EAI and B2B interfaces on TIBCO Business Works. Experience developing or supporting Mulesoft APIs running on CloudHub or on-premises. TIBCO Products : Proficiency in TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Hawk, and other TIBCO adapters. Upgrade Expertise : Experience with TIBCO version upgrades, including planning, execution, and rollback strategies. Experience in performing migrations from older versions to newer versions for 5.x and 6.x versions. Troubleshooting : Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to upgrades, compatibility, and performance. System Administration : Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems, database servers (Oracle, SQL Server), and web/application servers (Apache-Tomcat, WebLogic). TIBCO Administration : At least 3 years of experience installing and configuring TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.X, 6.X and CE, Tibco Administrator, Tibco Domain Utility, TEA Good to Have : Designing, documenting, and developing integration solutions to enable integration of systems and applications across an enterprise. Worked with JMS compliant Message Brokers and familiar with JMS objects, properties, and administration activities. Experience on Java, and capable of reading and troubleshooting Java code. Implementing integration (ESB/EAI/SOA) patterns using SDLC processes and agile methodology. Working with XML, XSD, DTD, XSLT, XPATH, and JSON; and Experience with REST and SOAP Applications, both as server and as a consumer Understanding of business intelligence, data warehousing, data modelling, architectures, and terminology. Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / Agile development. Demonstrated experience in SQL scripting (SQL Server and Oracle preferred). Qualifications : Education : A relevant degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
