Job Description

Project Overview / Contractor's Role:

The Business Analyst position will interact with business stakeholders across the enterprise and can serve across a variety of workstreams that form part a Modernization initiative.

Experience:

Qualifications (must haves):

- Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with business analysis knowledge and experience in large scale modernization.

- Requires considerable experience in large scale change initiatives, covering such areas as product development, technical delivery, and implementation.

- Must have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects.

- Requires excellent communication skills (both written and oral) to consult with project stakeholders and management regarding status of projects.

- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.

- Excellent collaboration & presentation skills

- Understands and can identify the risks associated and apply it within product development

- Experience in Agile delivery methodologies / Product Development preferred

- Experience in financial services, particularly asset servicing/custody desired.

- Broad understanding of Product Management frameworks are a plus.

- Expertise in MS Office skills; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Miro, Azure Dev Ops, Appian, Data digitization tools

- Knowledge of client onboarding functions a plus

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities:

> Accountable for gathering requirements, process modelling and data analysis.

> Partners with product management, subject matter experts to ensure that the requirements are understood and that the delivered design fulfils all of the requirements adequately.

> Translates the business feature requirements into technical stories post conducting preliminary research followed by end-to-end business analysis.

> Supports the product development teams through the build and test activities to ensure that all requirements are understood.

> Supports operational readiness, data migration, user testing and implementation activities necessary.

> Has the ability to effectively and independently co-ordinate across multiple groups including IT, projects and escalate as necessary.

> Advocate for the adoption of rigorous data quality management and for expanding the enterprise value of the data ensuring that data is strategically used to achieve business outcomes which
include modernization, transformation, continuous improvement, regulatory and other initiatives.
