Title:Interoperability Engineer (IT Architect) Duration: 12 month Location: Remote MOI: Skype Activities Supportthe Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record ModernizationIntegration Office (EHRM-IO) as an Interoperability Engineer. Serveas technical leader in support of ongoing operations and continued monitoringfor joint EHR platforms, specifically HealtheIntent, Enterprise Data Warehouseand health registries, with integrated interfaces, hardware and infrastructuresthat span across multiple federal agency and private sector environmentssupporting OEHRM Interoperable data exchange implementations. Actsas highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration,compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multiple platforms. Identifypotential technical risks to large-scale system to system interface efforts. Supportany Major Incident, or other response efforts and support the identification ofroot causes, courses of actions and potential solutions. Monitorscalability, availability, performance, and engineering best practices for alarge-scale EHR system and data warehouse and make recommendations to supportmultiple concurrent deployments. Assess,validate, and optimize infrastructure end-to-end systems and architecture. Buildand validate test environments, identify servers and interconnections. Provideguidance to government executives and technical teams on issues, bestpractices, and optimal methods. Supportin-depth engineering analysis and providing testing expertise- with regards tounderstanding impacts to Cerner integration from patches. Conductanalyses of existing and proposed data structures, syntax, and semantics tounderstand potential changes based on patch changes. Supportad-hoc engineering analyses in response to incidents to analyze optimizationopportunities. Requirements Minimumqualifications: 5 years of professional work experience. Experienceindependently designing and developing new software products or majorenhancements to existing software for ahealthcare/clinical environment Abilityto perform as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems ofsystems integration, compatibility, healthcaresemantics, informatics and multiple platforms Experienceseeing projects to completion Experienceperforming feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management Experienceand knowledge withHealtheIntent Bachelorsdegree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineeringor technical related field, or an additional 10 years of relevant experiencemay be substituted for degree requirements Preferredqualifications: Experiencein the VA Experienceimplementing Electronic Health Records Significant experience in network engineering (10 years),with 5 years on large scale systems Experience with Network Engineering and Internetworking Experience with enterprise network concepts (MPLS,prioritization, segmentation, load balancing, segmentation, continuity ofoperations) Experiencewith scalability analysis and modeling Experiencewith system (end-to-end) performance assessment and optimization Experiencewith VA and DOD legacy data, private sector data (Health Information Exchange)and Interoperability EHR Viewers Systems integration experience Rootcause problem analysis and determination Regards, Saloni Chaurasia { Technical Recruiter } TEK Inspirations LLC Pvt.
