Role: Senior and Intermediate Data Engineer (2 openings) Client: IU Health Duration: 6 Months, chance of extension Location: Fully Remote - Candidate MUST be located in the EST or CST time zones. Interview Process: Likely two video interviews - 30-60 minutes in length No H1B PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: A photo ID will be required for each candidate to confirm their identity during the interview/hiring process. Submitted candidates MUST be on your W2 as we are not looking to work on a C2C2C basis. We will cut ties with any corp that provides candidates that are not on their W2 - this includes corps that send candidates from "sister" companies. There will be absolutely ZERO tolerance for proxy interviews or work. The candidates that are submitted must be the ones to interview and complete the work if hired. Action will be taken if it's determined that a proxy was used for a candidate at any point. Requirements: Clusters Hive tables Star/Snowflake schema Slowly changing dimension tables (CD Tablestype 1 & type2) Powershell, dont have be expert, just have to know. Will work with existing PowerShell scripts. GIT & CI/CD Work in Azure Synapse, if know cluster/hive tables, then will know Azure. SQL Assessment (this will occur w/team interview) Strong communication skills required - Candidate must be fluent in English . Notes: Focus on people who do the Transformation of ELT/ETL. Team focuses on data transformation which processes data by data cleaning and transforming it into a proper storage format/structure for the purposes of querying and analysis.
