Trillium Professional is now seeking Software Development Engineers ! The Automotive Vehicles team is searching for a creative and experienced Software Engineer to help us bring autonomous vehicle solution out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will redefine the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our AV SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all meaningful and automotive standards & guidelines. Job duties: Design, develop, and maintain software and data infrastructure that supports large-scale, high-fidelity simulation of autonomous driving systems. Collaborate across engineering, data science, test engineering, and release to build and scale test solutions that address gaps in coverage and frameworks and mitigate risks to the project. Build, improve and maintain tools that automate the testing and data analytics process, enabling a culture of test-driven development across the company. Create/Lead and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools that allow others to understand software performance. Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem solving. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues that affect the performance and reliability of our simulation infrastructure. Build simulation test cases from these. Qualifications: BS (or equivalent experience), MS, or PhD in Engineering or Science field. 2+ years of software engineering and/or data analysis experience, preferably in the field of simulation, autonomous systems, robotics, artificial intelligence or related areas. Proficiency in Python, SQL, C++ or similar high-level programming languages. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and test-driven development. Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and technical troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to perform in situations with high ambiguity and competing priorities. Curiosity and a desire to get into the weeds of a problem. Preferred: Experience with scaling the use of autonomous vehicles simulation frameworks . Experience with or knowledge of AI/ML systems, or a background in working with AI-native systems.
