The IT Project Manager will develop best practices and strategies to ensure project scope, budget, resource, communication, and project plans are developed with project leads and endorsed by executive sponsors prior to implementation. The IT Project Manager is an assertive, collaborative, and highly organized individual focused on the inputs and outputs necessary for the success of all projects. Do not submit repeat candidates - this is a repost of 126350 Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related discipline. Advanced degree in Information Technology or Project Management is preferred or successful completion of certification or courses in PMP or business analysis a plus. Minimum of three (3) years project management experience. Previous experience in information technology operations or project management required. Evidence of strong, effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to changes quickly. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment. Essential Functions: 1.Manage and direct project teams to realize set goals and objectives. 2.Ability to provide IT specific consultation and solutions to address the business or productivity needs of the organization, including development of project charters and scopes, or recommendations for change orders. 3.Develop and refine project management best practices, processes, workflows, templates, and tools to ensure projects are managed well while aligning to the districts way of work and compliance with policies, procedures and standards. 4.Design, schedule and facilitate kick-off and project meetings to advance project teams to task completion and successful outcomes. 5.Develop agendas, meeting minutes, presentations, executive briefings, knowledge articles, user guides, training materials, and other artifacts to build context, understanding, and communicate key messages related to projects to keep stakeholders. and targeted audiences informed on progress. 6.Manage vendor relationships and contracts according to district policy, including development of RFP/RFQs, regular vendor meetings, completing vendor assessments, and arranging quality assurance and testing as required. 7.Conduct risk assessments to identify factors capable of minimizing project success, providing root cause analysis and/or recommendations for mitigation or resolve. 8.Responsible for developing tools to keep project lead and team, business partners, stakeholders, and executive sponsors accountable for tasks and deliverables for projects, including meeting expectations and targeting on-time completion. 9.Conduct post-project evaluation identifying successful outcomes and areas for improvement with final close out to executive sponsors. 10.Implement and maintain data and reporting systems to provide real-time displays of project portfolios across teams. 11.Build and maintain effective relationships across the district for collaboration and peer feedback to inspire collaborative work opportunities across teams, and to gain support and buy-in for projects before implementation. 14.Monitor the implementation of policy, processes, and procedures, and serve as an agent to inform, advocate, and administer new policies, procedures, and change orders. 15.Provide sound judgment for solving complex technical issues Regards, sharath kumar [email protected] Predica Inc. | A: 26211 Central Park Boulevard | Suite 502 | Southfield | MI 48076 W: www.predicaz.com Keywords: information technology Michigan |
