Please let me know your interest in the below role- Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer Location: Nashville/Brentwood, TN ( HYBRID, Onsite 2-3 times per week, LOCAL) Duration: 3-6 months Visa: USC and GC Video Interviews LinkedIn Profile Candidates must already be local to the area and provide proof of residency ( license or utility bill). Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for the following essential functions: Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and needs. Research information security standards, conduct in-depth system security reviews, vulnerability analyses, and risk assessments. Study security architecture/platform to identify integration issues or opportunities and prepare cost estimates. Mentor and train the cybersecurity team on security tools and security best practices. Administer, ingest data, parse, design dashboards, and customize searches of company SIEM. Conduct periodic independent security audits including NIST, HIPAA, and SOX audits and all internal controls compliance programs. Generate reports as needed from various security systems to support regulatory compliance. Investigate known or suspected security incidents and perform thorough threat hunting and remediation using cybersecurity tools. Responsible for firewall and URL filtering configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and various other security measures. Responsible for Identity and Access Management. Responsible for Endpoint Detection and Response administration. Responsible for security setup, maintenance, and monitoring in Azure/M365 cloud environment. Evaluate and recommend security products for various platforms to support the company. Conduct training sessions with various audiences, provide support, and educate users on security policies. Consult on security initiatives and issues. Research emerging technologies and maintain awareness of current security risks in support of security enhancement and development efforts. Participate in educational opportunities, professional networks, and professional organizations. Qualifications required: 8+ years of professional experience Solid experience with Cloud Strike and/or Defender.
