Position: MS D365 - Field Service Functional Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Functional Lead to join our team for a critical project involving the migration from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

As a Field Service Functional Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful transition of our field service operations to the new platform.

Your expertise will be pivotal in analyzing existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, guiding the implementation of D365 functionalities, and overseeing the crucial task of data mapping between old and new systems.

Responsible for low-level application solution design and low-level cross-functional design consistency.

Manages the Functional Field Services team including config review and functional testing.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

Lead and manage the migration project from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Field Service.

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.

2. Functional Analysis:

Conduct in-depth analysis of current field service processes and workflows within the legacy systems.

Identify functional requirements and translate them into D365 configuration specifications.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

3. Solution Design and Implementation:

Design scalable and efficient solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to meet business objectives.

Configure D365 Field Service module to align with organizational processes and requirements.

Customize D365 functionalities as needed to address specific business challenges.

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and data migration.

4. Data Mapping:

Lead the process of mapping data fields and structures between the old legacy systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Collaborate with data analysts and technical teams to ensure accurate mapping of data entities and attributes.

Develop comprehensive data mapping documentation, including source-to-target mappings and transformation rules.

Validate data mappings through rigorous testing and reconciliation to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Identify and address any discrepancies or data quality issues during the mapping process.

5. User Training and Support:

Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on D365 Field Service functionalities.

Provide ongoing support and guidance to users during and after the implementation phase.

Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate resolution.

6. Quality Assurance and Testing:

Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of D365 configurations.

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure alignment with business requirements.

Identify and address any issues or discrepancies through thorough testing and collaboration with stakeholders.

7. Change Management:

Develop change management strategies to facilitate smooth transition and adoption of D365 Field Service.

Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with change and transition.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or

related field. Masters degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365

for Field Service.

3. Strong understanding of field service operations and processes.

4. Proven experience leading large-scale migration projects from legacy systems to D365.

5. Proficiency in D365 customization, configuration, and integration capabilities.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and change management skills with the ability to

collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.

We are seeking a MS dynamic Finance and Ops Functional Lead to drive our migration project from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

This role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless transition of finance and operations functionalities while also taking charge of data mapping processes.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of finance and operations expertise along with proficiency in data mapping and ERP implementations.

Need experience in Finance/SCM/Project Accounting.

Responsible for low-level application functional design and low-level cross-functional design consistency.

Manages the Functional FO team including config review and functional testing.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

Lead the migration project from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), overseeing finance and operations aspects.

Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy, focusing on data mapping processes for accurate data transfer.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align project goals and ensure timely execution.

Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

Functional Expertise:

Conduct detailed analysis of finance and operations processes within legacy systems.

Identify data mapping requirements and ensure alignment with D365 data structures.

Design and configure D365 modules to accommodate mapped data and meet business needs.

Implement standardized processes and workflows within D365, ensuring seamless integration with mapped data.

Data Mapping:

Lead the data mapping process, ensuring accurate translation of data from legacy systems to D365.

Collaborate with IT and data teams to develop data mapping strategies and methodologies.

Validate data mappings to ensure integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.

Troubleshoot and resolve data mapping issues, working closely with technical teams as needed.

Change Management:

Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate user adoption of D365 and mapped data.

Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and functionalities.

Address user concerns and resistance to change, fostering a culture of acceptance and proficiency with the new system and mapped data.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct comprehensive testing of D365 configurations and mapped data to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Identify and address discrepancies or inconsistencies in data mapping and system performance.

Collaborate with IT and external consultants to resolve technical challenges related to data mapping and integration.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create detailed documentation of data mapping processes, including mapping rules and methodologies.

Develop user guides and SOPs related to data migration and mapped data utilization within D365.

Generate regular reports on data mapping progress, project milestones, and financial metrics.

Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP) preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 for finance and operations.

3. Strong understanding of finance and operations and processes.

4. Proven experience leading large-scale migration projects from legacy systems to D365.

5. Proficiency in D365 customization, configuration, and integration capabilities.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and change management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization
