Command Center Inc. is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer with a passion for technology, a drive for excellence, and the skills to bring innovative solutions to life. As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer, you have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our IT infrastructure to guarantee robustness, efficiency, and scalability. Experience with Linux systems is a plus. Youre responsible for building out and maintaining our AWS infrastructure for our Cloud-based SaaS Cybersecurity solution, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests for our customers. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure. Leadership, critical thinking, challenging the norm, and continuous learning are highly valued in this role. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud solutions, including infrastructure as code, automation, and configuration management. Architect and deploy highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. Develop and implement security best practices for AWS environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security. Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance, cost, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Stay current with AWS best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Proven track record of designing and building scalable, reliable, and secure environments in AWS for development, testing, and production. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Github or GitLab CI/CD to automate software delivery and deployment. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience in related field. 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification preferred. Strong expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation. Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
