Kindly go through the below mentioned job description Role: Workday Tester Location: NYC, NY (Day 1 onsite) Duration: Long term contract Job description Responsibilities: Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Workday implementations based on business requirements and functional specifications. Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of Workday configurations. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that testing activities align with project timelines and objectives. Document test results, defects, and issues in a clear and concise manner, and work closely with development teams to resolve identified issues. Participate in the review and validation of Workday configurations, including business process workflows, security configurations, and integrations with other systems. Stay current with Workday updates and new features, and assess their impact on existing configurations and testing processes. Provide support and guidance to end-users during testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation validation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Prior experience in software testing, preferably with a focus on Workday or other enterprise software solutions. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including test planning, test case design, and defect management. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
