In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing AI-powered solutions to enhance the accessibility of our enterprise software products. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to understand customer needs, design and architect accessible solutions, and take full ownership of the development and deployment process. Responsibilities: Understanding Customer Needs: Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gain a deep understanding of their accessibility challenges and requirements. Analyze existing software solutions to identify areas for improvement in terms of accessibility standards. Solution Design and Development: Recommend and implement AI-powered solutions to address identified accessibility issues. Leverage expertise in Machine Learning Models, Python, PySpark, and SQL to develop and deploy accessible features. Architect and design solutions that are scalable, efficient, and maintainable. Accessibility Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of Microsoft Accessibility Standards and best practices. Apply accessibility assessment and evaluation techniques to ensure solutions meet WCAG 2.1 guidelines. Integrate accessibility considerations throughout the development lifecycle. End-to-End Ownership: Take full ownership of assigned projects, from design and architecture to implementation and deployment. Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of accessibility solutions. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI for accessibility and accessibility standards. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of developed solutions. Share knowledge and best practices with the broader team. Qualifications: Essential Skills: 10+ years of experience in data science or a related field. Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions. Expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Machine Learning models. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Accessibility Standards (WCAG 2.1) and accessibility best practices. Experience with accessibility assessment and evaluation techniques. Proficiency in Windows PowerShell scripting. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Desirable Skills: Experience with .NET programming.
