Below skills are mandatory: Java, Microservices, Production support, Sumologic, Jmeter, Grafana, troubleshooting JD: The resource needs to be a Java developer who knows the basics very well. The position is for BAU projects(Business as Usual) and would involve enhancements, managing incidents, and troubleshooting on their own. This would be part of a POD team wherein he/she will have offshore team members. This is long-term for 2 to 3 years to begin with and will be extended. The resource needs to have excellent communication and be able to communicate and work in collaboration with cross-commit teams and be fine working on BAU projects. They shouldnt think of themselves as independent contractors. The right attitude is primary for this role. The resource should be able to scale up quickly, be passionate about new learnings, understand the echo system, and feel engaged with the echo system. The resource needs to have experience with spring boot, microservices, managing applications, and upkeep of applications in the cloud. AWS cloud exposure and working experience in CI/CD is preferred. Some production support background is preferred. BAU Lead: Preferred Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Java and maintenance, enhancements, and triaging for large, complex systems. 5+ years of RESTFUL microservices development, Spring Boot, REST, JSON, and Java 8 multithreading Hands-on experience with containers, AWS cloud, automation, security, configuration management Experience in commonly used AWS services like EC2, Kubernetes, VPC, Lambda etc Experience in tools such as Maven, Docker, ELK stack, Jenkins Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining Java-based microservices in an AWS environment. MUST HAVE: Good communication skills, Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to debug production and performance issues using tools like Sumologic, JMETER and other observability (Grafana) tools. Ability to lead high priority incident bridges and solve complex issues. Nice to have: Knowledge of Reactive Programming paradigm Spring Webflux or AKKA Working experience with RDBMS (ORACLE, Postgres) and No SQL databases (Casandra, MongoDB, Redis) Understanding/exposure to Graph database, Apache Kafka Understanding of SOAP calls and how to integrate with legacy SOAP applications.
