From: Shane, Abdisolutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] urgent interview!!! send me resume in [email protected] need strong resume according to this jd Job Description Position Title: RF Engineer (Repeater Engineering & Operation, Terrestrial Ops) Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408 (Relocation is okay if the candidate is willing to relocate on his expenses) Duration: 12+ months (with a strong chance for extension or conversion) We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer for an immediate 12+ month contract opportunity in Fredericksburg, VA, with the potential for extension or conversion. The role requires 100% onsite presence from Monday to Friday at the client's location, SiriusXM. Required Skills & Experience: Strong understanding of satellite communications, including digital communications expertise in QPSK and COFDM systems. RF engineering proficiency with expertise in S, X-band, and KU transmission equipment. Knowledge of transmission line theory, satellite link budgets, baseband, and RF test equipment. Additional experience with Liquid Cooling, Spectrum Analyzers, and Amplifier Test is required. Responsibilities: Assist with the laboratory validation of new terrestrial repeater equipment. Conduct regression testing of associated software and authorize it for use in production Broadcast systems. Create and execute required Test Procedures, Acceptance Test Plans, and test reports for approval by Sr. Management. Collaborate with the Terrestrial Repeater Engineering team, working closely with Repeater Operations, National Repeater Control Center, ASIC Design, Broadcast Network teams, and equipment vendors. Ensure next-generation equipment designs and new software releases meet requirements and remain on schedule.
