Job Role: Network Architect (11+ years experience) Location: San Diego, CA About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Service Delivery Manager to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of network, security, and IT support services to our valued customers. You will ensure seamless operations, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in service quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Customer Focus and Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at customer sites. Understand customer needs, identify pain points, and recommend solutions tailored to their specific requirements. Manage customer expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the service delivery lifecycle. Service Delivery and Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of network, security, and IT support teams. Drive the implementation of ITIL best practices to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs) and system availability commitments. Collaborate with support engineers to resolve customer issues promptly and effectively. Business Growth and Development: Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Work with Delivery Heads to develop and implement strategies for expanding existing customer relationships. Manage and monitor the team's performance against budget and profitability targets. Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of network and security technologies, including switching (DCN & ACI), routing, firewalls, IPS/IDS, proxies, DNS security, and web application firewalls. Have working knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration. Experience with network and IT infrastructure monitoring solutions is a plus. Additional Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to manage and motivate teams. Proficiency in using project management tools and methodologies. Understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks (certification a plus).
