Please let me know your interest in the below role- DevOps Engineer Location: 100% R emote Duration: 6 month contract Visa: USC only Must be able to get Public Trust clearance (4-5 week wait time) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our applications. This role requires a strong background in AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code, as well as exceptional critical thinking and documentation skills. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on leveraging Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) for container orchestration. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, ensuring that all cloud resources are versioned, documented, and reproducible. Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, optimize resource utilization, and implement best practices for cloud security and compliance. Create comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architectures, deployment processes, and operational procedures, ensuring clarity and consistency across the engineering team. Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for various applications. Key Requirements: Proven experience with AWS cloud services, including a deep understanding of EKS, EC2, S3, VPC, and other core AWS technologies. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, particularly Ansible and Terraform, with a strong emphasis on automation and configuration management. Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyze complex systems, and solve challenging technical problems. Experience in creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation, including infrastructure designs, deployment strategies, and operational procedures. Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, with a focus on automation and efficiency. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Certifications in AWS and Kubernetes are a plus. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools beyond EKS.
