Title :Insurance Solution Lead/Principal Architect Guidewire PolicyCenter. Location: Onsite at San Antonio, TX / Onsite and Plano, TX C2C Overview: The Insurance Solution Principal is a pivotal leadership role responsible for spearheading strategic initiatives and providing expert guidance in insurance solutions within our customer organization implementing Guidewire PolicyCenter platform. This position entails close collaboration with customers and vendors in managing overall delivery and solution, as well as representing the overall delivery health of scope The Insurance Solution Lead/Principal will actively participate in program and solution level cadences, escalate risks and issues, and collaborate with customer and vendors on resolution. Additionally, this role involves identifying and managing critical dependencies for scope, sequencing features, and effectively managing dependencies and risks. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and drive the strategic direction for insurance solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter and many personal line insurance integrations, aligning with organizational goals and market trends. Solution Development: Lead the design, development, and customization of insurance solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of insurance professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Project Management: Support the execution of overall implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaboration with Customer: Collaborate closely with Customers and Vendors in managing overall delivery and solution, representing the overall delivery health Program Participation: Actively participate in applicable program and solution level cadences, contributing insights and expertise to drive successful outcomes. Risk Management: Escalate risks and issues, collaborating with customers/vendors on resolution, and identifying and managing critical dependencies. Feature Sequencing: Sequence features and manage dependencies and risks effectively to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. Qualifications: Extensive experience (15+ years) in the insurance industry, with a focus on solution development, consulting, or related roles with 2-3+ implementations involving Guidewire PolicyCenter End to End Implementation Experience for Personal Lines (Auto, Property, Umbrella) Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strategic & solution mindset with the ability to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions. Proven track record of successfully delivering insurance projects and supporting business growth. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance industry. Certification(s) such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), or equivalent, desirable.
