Electric Vehicle (transportation electrification) & Emerging Technologies experience profiles only Local to Texas Profiles only Exp: 10+ Years Required Skills: Electric Vehicle & Emerging Technologies experience must Strategic Planning for EV charging infrastructure deployment (internal and external) Minimum 3 years Experience in the Electric Vehicle (transportation electrification) industry Electric utility experience with transportation electrification or distributed energy resource deployment PMP Certification WORK DESCRIPTION: (Add specifics of this contract) This position resides with the Electric Vehicle & Emerging Technologies team at Austin Energy. Austin Energys award-winning program is a leader in transportation electrification and deploys a comprehensive 5 pillar EV strategy of infrastructure, outreach, equity, fleets, and grid integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project management for charging station installation guidelines and processes on the electric vehicles & emerging technologies team at Austin Energy. The EV Project Lead 2 will work closely with cross-functional teams both internally and externally to ensure successful deployment of public and fleet charging infrastructure, develop policy guidance and best practices, and provide research and analysis for emerging technology projects.
