Implement scalable and performant APIs to support frontend functionalities. Integrate and interact with various databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) to store and retrieve data. Develop and implement APIs that seamlessly integrate with front-end applications and other services. Hosting the application in cloud systems (Ex. Lambda). Implement robust security measures to ensure data integrity and application security. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to established coding standards. Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality. Ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues effectively. Conduct performance analysis and optimization of backend systems. Stay up to date on the latest trends and advancements in Node.js, JavaScript, and back-end development. Knowledge in Python. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Node.js Backend Developer or similar role. Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and familiar with asynchronous programming concepts. Experience with common Node.js frameworks and libraries (e.g., Express, Mongoose). Understanding of database technologies and experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and API design principles. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of security best practices in web development.
