Job Title : Data Engineer Location : Durham NC, Westlake TX (Day 1 Onsite) Experience: 12+ Years Duration : Long Term Contract LinkedIn & Passport No is Mandatory Description Demonstrated ability in influencing and partnering with architects, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable robust application solutions. Expert knowledge of Dataverse and other data aggregation, retention and analysis solutions like SQL, Snowflake, NoSQL. Lead and own the analysis, design, development, security, deployment, and support of solutions within the Power Platform ecosystem (Power BI, Model-Driven Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.). Complete scoping of technical requirements, confirming allocated time is correctly sized. Collaborate and coordinate with teams to build and support multi-cloud (Azure/AWS), resilient, scalable, event-driven solutions to accelerate fraud detection and prevention. Business Intelligence (OBIE/ Power BI) Engineering working Experience Advanced working knowledge of OBIEE/Power BI Development Experience working with Power BI Desktop, Paginated Reports and/or Power BI Rest APIs Working experience in Informatica/Snowflake Experience of Airflow or REST API Experience with Azure or other public cloud providers Experience with Python Strong working knowledge of Relational Databases such as Oracle Experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages etc. Experience with cloud native data warehousing and data lake solutions using Snowflake, Redshift, etc. Knowledge of batch job scheduling and dependency management using BMC Control-M for distributed systems Advanced skills in data intensive application development, data integration, and data pipeline design patterns on a distributed platform. Nice to have experience with Tableau.
