| Hi, Please find job description below; VISAS- USC , GC Only TITLE- Performance Engineer LOCATION- 100% Remote DURATION- 6-12 months contract INTERVIEW- Telephonic and WebEx About The Role: Top 3-5 Technical Skills: (see additional info below with skill sets listed) Extensive Performance Testing experience Jmeter experience preferred (see additional info below) Experience with Salesforce AWS is a huge plus. ISTQB Cert (preferred) Project Scope/Details/Responsibilities: Design Performance Test Scripts in tools such as Jmeter, Loadrunner etc. for enterprise applications based on requirements. Responsible for performance benchmarking around cloud-based applications such as Salesforce, AWS, etc. Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes. Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities. Run and manage performance test scripts, and design complex use cases by simulating user load through scripting, workload modeling, etc. Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports. Collaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance. Assume primary responsibility as Performance Testing SPOC Required Education & Experience: Bachelors of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology CS, Masters Tech CS, Master of Computer Applications or equivalent degree. Relevant certificates like ISTQB will be an added advantage. Relevant Experience in IT Performance Testing. Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management. Expertise in Performance Testing tools using Jmeter, Load Runner, Blazemeter / Performance center and performance monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk etc. Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessary follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments. Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications. Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis. Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detailed status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues. Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application. Strong problem-solving skills and very good time management skills. Ability to stand and sit for sustained periods of time, at least 50%. Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data; transcribing/typing; viewing a computer; and extensive reading.
