| From: Madhu, LGL Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role :VMWARE ADMIN Location:DENVER,CO Day 1 Onsite Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers and new team members while tackling challenging programming and design issues Design highly available and fault-tolerant VMware infrastructure solutions Establish standards and guidelines for VMware infrastructure design, tuning, deployment, maintenance, backups, upgrades, and automation processes Proactively identify and recommend software updates or architectural improvements to prevent capacity limitations Develop automated incident response mechanisms to minimize the need for manual intervention Advocate for system metrics such as MTBF and MTTR, regularly communicating them to decision-makers Manage issue priority and participate in an on-call rotation schedule with team members, including weekends Skills, Experience And Requirements As a successful VMWare Engineer, you will have: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience 10+ years of proficiency with VMware services and tools through hands-on experience Experience in bare-metal deployments of VMware infrastructure Proficient in building and administering multiple VMware products across various remote locations and data centers Skilled in programming using languages such as Java, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby, or advanced Shell scripting Keywords: cplusplus Colorado |
