Local Only Responsibilities: Contribute to and support our digital transformation Contribute to our digital transformation by participating in the design, development, configuration, and deployment of digital solutions Participate in, and / or lead high impact projects that provide financial benefits and result in improvements to safety, quality, and / or production yield Work closely with the operations teams to understand requirements and identify improvement opportunities; translate into project specifications, including work estimates and forecasted benefits Design and maintain highly available and error resistant applications and systems that support Edgar Thomson Operations Play a key role in the new design and maintenance of modern supervisory systems Specific Experience Required: Software Engineer / Developer with minimum of 1-2 years of experience developing in Java, C, C#, R, and/or Python. Knowledge of the Visual Studio IDE. Comfortable with both Linux/Unix and Windows environments. Development experience on PTC Thingworx IoT platform plus Experience with Tableau a plus Experience with SQL and Oracle a plus Personal Skills Required: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or related field Effective oral and verbal communication, team player Initiative to generate improvement ideas Motivation to maintain a high level of productivity and self-direction Desire to learn established systems for purposes of modernization and support Technical Skills Required: Java, C, C#, R, and/or Python Visual Studio Linux and Windows Tableau SQL -- Keywords: cprogramm csharp rlang information technology Pennsylvania |
