You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product vision, prioritize features, and drive the development lifecycle from ideation to delivery. Your role will involve understanding business requirements, translating them into actionable tasks for the development team, and ensuring the successful execution of data product initiatives. Responsibilities Works closely with technology and business stakeholders to define and communicate the vision for data products, aligning them with business objectives and customer needs Deeply understands business and technology and support product and data roadmaps driving business outcomes through technology enablement and innovation. Prioritize features and initiatives for technology data teams to successfully execute business needs and vision. Gather information from multiple stakeholders and be the driver in planning process to ensuring requirements, timelines and value objectives are known and met. Actively participates in standups, retrospectives, refinements and team demos. Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, features and other documentation to guide the development process. Additionally, flags dependencies & risks for the stories/features. Review Jira boards daily and ensure items have proper due dates and follow up with business/requestor and coordinates with Data stakeholders. Be the first person to review requests coming through intake from business, work with D&A CoE team to prioritize requests and follow up as needed. Available and active on meetings about planned initiatives and future initiatives that may have data needs and be aware of potential impacts. Base Pay Information The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dentals assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $80,000 - $120,000. Skills/Experience: 2+ years of related experience w/ Bachelors degree Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, with a focus on data products and analytics Experience in data & reporting technologies preferred Knowledge of Agile methodologies Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders effectively and actively Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions High comfort level interacting with colleagues of various teams and levels Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced & dynamic environment under tight timelines, while adaptive to change Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information and adhere to data security and confidentiality protocols and procedures Required Skills: Excellent communication skills. Product Owner or Product Management experience preferred. Data & Analytics tools and technology knowledge preferred. Prior Agile methodology experience preferred.
