| Direct client position Position: . Net Software Developer Duration: 2 years w/option to extend another 2 years. Location: West Sacramento, CA. Job Description: Seeking Senior C#.NET Software Developers with knowledge of pension or financial web applications and cloud-based applications using cloud-managed services or client-based applications with MVC, Knockout.js/Angular.js, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX). The selected Senior C#.NET Software Developers will be: 1) Designing and building applications with cloud technologies, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), 2) Designing and building new responsive GUI web applications, 3) Developing small- to medium-sized enhancements of existing SOA web applications, and 4) Troubleshooting and resolving production incidents. Minimum Qualifications At least seven (7) years of experience, within the last ten (10) years performing design, development, and implementation of distributed, enterprise scalable Microsoft . NET web applications and Microsoft WCF services running on Windows servers using Microsoft C#.NET in support of a large-scale Pension, Financial, or similar type of organization. At least five (5) years of experience creating highly usable internet and intranet applications using ASP.NET, C#, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. At least five (5) years of experience integrating modern n-tier enterprise applications with mainframe legacy systems. At least two (2) years of experience using Language Integrated Query (LINQ) and Entity Framework. Desirable Technical Qualifications It is desirable for the proposed project person to have the following listed experience, knowledge, skills and abilities as evidenced by Attachment II, Proposed Project Person Skill Summary Sheet and resume: Experience in various cloud technologies, especially AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. Experience using Microsoft Web API and Microsoft ASP.NET MVC with Angular.js or Knockout.js. Experience using HTML5, Bootstrap, and Telerik Kendo UI Framework for responsive GUI development with particular emphasis on designing for mobile clients. Ability to create technical specifications, functional requirements, design models, test plans, user documentation, or other SDLC artifacts as needed. Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills; ability to mentor development staff to work effectively with established design patterns leveraging shared services, a robust library of base classes, and available utilities. Demonstrated sound analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to logically approach a problem and document the findings. Experience with iterative development methodologies, particularly Agile/SCRUM.
