Title: InfoSec Ops Engineer Location: Dallas or Miramar: We need Local Dallas, TX (On-site only) Type: 6 Contract to Hire - Eligibility: Must be US Citizen ONLY - ( Due to previous issues, eligibility will be verified) Onsite: 5 days a Week: Mon to Friday. Note: An InfoSec Ops Engineer, short for Information Security Operations Engineer, is a cybersecurity professional responsible for protecting an organization's computer systems and networks from threats and vulnerabilities. Their main tasks include monitoring for security breaches, managing security tools and systems, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. They must possess a mix of technical skills, analytical abilities, and knowledge of security protocols to effectively detect and mitigate risks. Continuous learning and professional certifications are also crucial in this ever-evolving field. About the Role: We're looking for a skilled InfoSec Ops Engineer to join our team. You'll help protect our company's data and systems by managing security operations, including cloud security, threat assessments, and incident response. What You'll Do: Work on cloud security and conduct vulnerability assessments. Respond to and investigate security incidents. Manage security tools and platforms, including EDR and SASE/CASB solutions. Support in malware analysis, computer forensics, and threat monitoring. Collaborate with teams across the company for security assessments. Be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support. What You Need: 2+ years of experience in managing EDR and working with cloud infrastructure and SASE/CASB solutions . A Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 10+ years in IT with a strong background in Windows and Linux systems. Experience with vulnerability scanning tools. Great communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Willingness to learn and stay updated on security trends. Nice to Have: CISSP certification . ( Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA Security+ Experience in computer forensics, eDiscovery, and coding (especially in .NET or PowerShell).
