Develop predictive models to assess the risk of negative patient experiences and flag potential intervention points. Process Optimization: Examine healthcare workflows and operational data to uncover bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and variability in care delivery that impact patient outcomes and experiences. Use machine learning techniques to recommend process improvements. Clinical Quality Metrics: Collaborate with clinical teams to design and track key quality-of-care metrics on dashboards and reports. Analyze trends to identify areas for targeted improvement and monitor the impact of interventions. Natural Language Processing Applications: Explore using NLP techniques to derive insights from unstructured text data within clinical notes, patient surveys, and social media sentiment to assess patient sentiment. Data-driven storytelling: Effectively communicate complex findings to clinicians, administrators, and patient experience leaders through compelling visualizations and presentations, supporting data-driven decision-making. Requirements: Master's degree in data science, health informatics, statistics, operations research, or a related field. 3+ years of experience applying data science to healthcare problems, ideally with a focus on quality improvement or patient experience.
