| Job Title : Senior Java Developer with Retail Location: Hybrid in (Cincinnati, Chicago, Charlotte, or Florida) Duration: 6 months CTH. (All candidates should be prepared to do some sort of technical screening during one or both of these stages) Looking for candidates in the Retail domain, working in the "personalization project". They need to have extensive exp with Azure and data management with Databricks in addition to other tech skills that the client is looking for. The right candidate for this role must be capable of building applications using modern event streaming architectures, should be hands on in Java Frameworks, microservices (Java, Spring Boot API development, REST, Mockito), data management with Databricks, and have experience with Azure Cloud. They should be comfortable working with application coding based on design, integration, and specification. Also, be comfortable working with application protocols such as JSON, REST. Nice to have: Experience in Data Engineering, DevOps, Golang Job Description Accountable for proactively leading or supporting software engineering activities that create deliverables which guide the direction, development, and delivery of software solutions to meet business needs. Provide leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks required to deliver critical business solutions. Develop target-state guidance (i.e., reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, individual parts, and configurations) to evolve the organizations development process. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience working with Java (1.8 or higher), using frameworks like Spring Boot + Spring Data. Experience with Azure cloud and RESTFUL services development. Experience working with relational or non-relational databases along with ORM frameworks to connect with them (like Spring Data, datastax). 5+ years of successful and applicable hands-on experience in software or infrastructure development domain and principles, including design patterns and code structure 5+ years of a proven track record of designing and delivering large scale, high-quality systems Experience partnering with others to solve problems efficiently. Proven ability to think and contribute at the strategic level Demonstrated written, oral and, presentation/public speaking communication skills Understanding of network and security architecture Hands on working with devbox tools like pipelines, container orchestration Key Responsibilities: Develop a high-quality codebase, lead design discussions, execute development against design, and navigate complex codebase Lead the development implementation of technology strategy within a defined set of teams.
