Job Title: Performance Engineering Architect Location: Waltham, MA (5 days Onsite) Duration: Contract-2-Hire Job Description: Ability to work with a team and motivate the team to achieve project deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills using a methodical approach. Ability to create consensus among different stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to the project/application stakeholders. Competencies: Performance Testing using Neotys NeoLoad, HP Load Runner (Mercury), JMETER Experience (Years): 6-8 Essential Skills: Strong experience in performance engineering & testing on cloud & on-prem for n-tiered environments. Expertise in using tools such as NeoLoad, JMeter, LoadRunner etc. Strong experience in understanding of application architecture, NFRs & identifying production workloads. Experience in load, soak, scalability, and other types of performance tests Advanced knowledge of web application protocols (HTTP, TCP, WebSockets, REST, GraphQL)Working experience with long-running queries and SQL debugger trace files Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace/ AppDynamics/New Relic and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Splunk, etc. Desirable Skills: Create Performance Test Plan, Test Strategy per NFRs Develop scripts in different Performance tools like NeoLoad, JMeter and LoadRunner. Design and run tests like Load, Soak, Scalability etc. Monitor and analyze from tools like Dynatrace/ AppDynamics/New Relic etc. Application monitoring/Observability, building dashboards (Grafana tool), identifying & establishing SLAs, logging & tracing. Developing frameworks to automate the activities in performance engineering life cycle. Create CI/CD pipeline to execute performance tests. Experience in AWS or Azure platform to run performance tests. Proactively communicate project requirements to project team and wider organization as and when required. Communicate all key aspects of the status report on a regular basis through monthly updates and other updates as critical developments occur. Demonstrated success as a self-starter.
