Start: ASAP Duration: 3 months to start This role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite in Boston, MA expected Candidate must have strong Windows experience and Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows services. Candidate must be strong with the on-premise technologies!! Job Summary As a DevOps Engineer Windows, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring Windows operating systems, servers, and related infrastructure. This position will have a strong focus on using products like Ansible, Salt, Terraform, Jenkins, Github, Chocolatey etc. to ensure reproducible environments that are able to scale out both on-premise and on the cloud (Azure, AWS). Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience Extensive knowledge in automating system and application lifecycles Working knowledge of enterprise data center technologies including storage platforms, network switching, and security infrastructure within a virtualized data center Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, servers, and related infrastructure Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows services. Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes Adept at evaluating problems accurately and displaying sound judgement Scripting (python, etc.) skills for monitoring and automation Experience maintaining an infrastructure and ensuring stability while adding new features Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment Possess a strong grasp of automation tools Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position Keywords: information technology Massachusetts |
