| From: Sonali, KPG99 [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: DevOps Engineer Visa: USC only Duration: 6+ months Location: Cincinnati, OH (Locals only) (Onsite) Responsibilities Partner with development teams to containerize Kafka applications using Kubernetes Partner with development teams to design and build scalable, automated CI/CD pipelines using Harness and GitHub Lead the effort to create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices Lead efforts to implement high availability and disaster recovery for business-critical applications Deploy and automate infrastructure/applications in on-prem and cloud environments Ensure the automation infrastructure is properly maintained and correctly designed Ensure that everything which can be automated is automated with simple, maintainable processes where possible Contribute to the toolset vision for the configuration and automated deployment Professional Experience 8+ years of experience in Build and Release engineering, scripting, and automation in a Unix and Windows environment Deep experience with Kubernetes (K8s) for software deployment and orchestration High proficiency with a scripting language such as Bash (preferred), Python, or PowerShell, and using that scripting language to solve problems and automate workflows Hands-on professional experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and hybrid on-prem environments Demonstrated capability designing and automating provisioning of environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices and tools like Terraform (preferred) and Ansible Experience automating from code commit to QA and Prod while employing build verification tests (BVT)s, Blue/Green deployments, and Canary releases Experience working with Kafka Experience in troubleshooting and system administration tasks in Linux or Unix Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities, knowledge of change management, and experience implementing new process/technology to standardize operations.
