Role:Subject Matter Expert/ Business Analyst ( Medical Assistance Program) Location: Maryland ( Day 1 onsite) Duration: Long term Duties: The SME should be highly knowledgeable and experienced in the Medical Assistance (MA) program. Their primary responsibility is to provide expert guidance and support to the organization's MA team. The candidate should possess a thorough understanding of MA standards and regulations. In addition to their technical knowledge, an SME for Medicaid should have excellent communication skills to convey complex information to the team clearly and concisely. They should be able to identify areas for improvement and develop training programs or resources to help the team improve their skills and knowledge. The role requires expertise in formulating specifications and executing technical initiatives in vertical areas. The role defines requirements, performs analysis, and develops plans for the Eligibility and Enrollment (E&E) system. Education: A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in the specific discipline. Master's is preferred. General Experience: At least 12 years of relevant industry experience in the discipline is required. Specialized Experience: At least ten years of combined new and related older technical experience in the IT field directly related to the required area of expertise.
