We have an urgent opening for Business Analysts below. I have mentioned a Complete Job Description. Job Title: Business Analyst Location: 10 percent travel to Albany NY or NYC. Prefer someone in NY Skills Required: Prefer someone in the Albany, NY area but if theyre not, should be within 100-150 miles so a trip into Albany when needed is not a big deal Although it doesnt specify, someone from the Energy/Energy Efficiency space would be best ConEdison, other utilities that are focused on efficiency, National Grid, etc. Business Analyst 1 year (with opportunity for extension) Remote - Some in person meetings at NYSERDA's Albany office will be needed; if not local to Albany travel will be required on a limited basis. Mandatory Skills/Experience: Proficient at documenting requirements and specifications, and creating visual aids to represent business processes using standard methods. Experience and skill in discerning true requirements stemming from needs as opposed to business units less critical wants and wishes. Knowledge of software project management. Solid understanding of project management methods, processes, standards, and tools. Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols.
