Hello Title : JDA WMS Consultant Location : Irving TX Duration : 6-12months Job Description || Undocked || US (Irving, Texas)|| JDA WMS Consultant- Warehouse Management System (WMS) Overview: As a JDA WMS consultant specialising in Warehouse Management System (WMS), you will play a key role in leading the implementation, configuration, customization, and ongoing support of the JDA (Blue Yonder) WMS platform. In this leadership position, you will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the seamless integration of the WMS into the organization's supply chain operations. Responsibilities: Implementation and Configuration: Lead and oversee the successful implementation of the JDA WMS platform, including system setup, configuration, and testing. Customize the WMS to align with the specific requirements of the organization, incorporating considerations such as warehouse layout, workflows, and business rules. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system configurations. User Training and Documentation: Develop comprehensive training materials and lead training sessions for end-users, ensuring proficiency in utilizing the JDA WMS effectively. Create and maintain documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures, to support ongoing system usage. Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to seamlessly integrate the JDA WMS with other systems, including ERP,WES, TMS, and inventory management systems. Work closely with warehouse operations teams to understand their requirements, ensuring alignment with WMS capabilities. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest features and updates released by JDA (Blue Yonder) for the WMS platform. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, aiming to optimize warehouse operations and improve overall efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven leadership experience in JDA (Blue Yonder) Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and support. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, encompassing inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics processes. Proficient in system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement. Experience with the integration of WMS with other systems (ERP, Automation system like WES , etc.) is a significant plus.
