JOB DESCRIPTION As part of the SAP Basis Team this senior role will have responsibility for the SAP technical design and implementation, global rollout, support, and integration with other SAP modules and external systems. Candidate must have a solid working knowledge of networks, firewalls, and Azure SAP workloads as well as the ability to analyze network traffic as well as cross-regional network traffic. Candidate must have SAP S/4HANA global implementation experience with the ideal candidate having delivered S/4HANA solutions in EMEA. As part of the Basis Center of Excellence (BCoE) the candidate will provide hands-on leadership by working individually, or with teams, to support existing applications and participate in new projects. As this role is an integral part of a large SAP S/4HANA implementation team for a global Fintech company, the candidate must demonstrate their ability to successfully work with multiple teams across a rich SAP landscape. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and architect SAP infrastructure in Azure environment for global deployments in the EMEA region Support and work with project teams in multi-region time zones Oversee the deployment of SAP support packages as a process of SAP release strategy Install, configure, and maintain cloud SAP S/4HANA systems. This involves setting up system landscapes, defining system parameters, and ensuring system compatibility with hardware and software components. Configure and manage integrations between SAP S/4HANA and other systems or applications. Ensure seamless data exchange and integration with external systems while maintaining data consistency and integrity. Monitor the performance, availability, and health of SAP S/4HANA systems using monitoring tools like SAP SolMan. Implement performance tuning measures to optimize system performance and address any performance bottlenecks. Analyze system usage patterns and forecast future resource requirements. Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and optimizations to accommodate growth and ensure optimal system performance. Plan and execute patching, updates, and upgrades for SAP S/4HANA systems to ensure they are up to date with the latest enhancements, bug fixes, and security patches. Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design and optimize the SAP S/4HANA system landscape to meet business requirements. This involves planning system architectures, system sizing, and scalability considerations. Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices. Share knowledge with other team members and provide training as needed to ensure effective system administration and support. Education and Specialized Work Experience 3+ SAP technical implementations with direct hands-on experience with design, architecture, configuration, and deployment of SAP landscape within a Microsoft Azure Windows and Linux server environment 10+ years technical experience with installation and support of an ERP Financial software applications SAP S/4HANA cloud infrastructure global implementation experience Successfully delivered S/4HANA solutions in EMEA (preferred) Knowledgeable in SAP technology (S/4HANA, BW, BPC, HANA, Solution Manager/CHARMS, OpenText, BODS, GRC, PO CPS/BPA, VERTEX, SAC) Planning, Implementing and Maintaining SAP ERP/NetWeaver System Infrastructure Understanding of RDBMS structure and/or administration Strong communication skills; need to effectively communicate with system users, technical counterparts, functional teammates, middle to senior level technical and business leaders Independent decision making Takes ownership and accountability Strong process improvement discipline Advanced problem solving, error analysis, and analytical skills Solid drive for results Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation with peers and management Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent job-related experience Keywords: golang business works purchase order Georgia Nebraska Texas |
