Thank you in advance Role:- EMC tester Location:- Rochester MN(ONSITE) Duration: Contract JOB Description: The Engineer will setup EMC testing of IBM DS8K which will include verifying calibration of test equipment and troubleshooting equipment such as spectrum analyzers, pre- amplifiers, antennas, EMI probes, and oscilloscopes. Prior EMC experience and knowledge is a must have. Engineer will perform low level OS configuration and support for all IT equipment during testing. Required skills Prior Experience in the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design and testing IBM Certified for EMC testing Expert with DS8K Radiated Emission testing Expert with DS8K Radiated Electromagnetic Susceptibility Experience with DS8K High Frequency Emissions Experience with DS8K Low-Frequency Emissions Experience with DS8K Electrostatic Discharge Experience with DS8K Conducted Emission Experience with DS8K Conducted Immunity Experience with DS8K Telecom Emission Experience with DS8K Power line Disturbance Experience with DS8K Electrical Fast Transient Experience with DS8K Voltage Dip Experience with DS8K Electrical Surge Experience with DS8K Harmonics and Flickers Experience with DS8K Power Magnetic Frequency Test Hands-on work or school laboratory experience in RF, antenna, shielding, and/or compatibility testing and design Basic knowledge in the use of oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, and other electrical test equipment.
