In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications to support our enterprise financial management needs. You will collaborate closely with business partners and internal IT to ensure successful implementation, ongoing support, and user adoption. Responsibilities: Hyperion Planning and Essbase Expertise: Implement and support Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications. Design and develop complex business rules and calculation scripts to automate financial processes. Build and maintain multi-dimensional data models for efficient data analysis and reporting. Financial Reporting and Integration: Create and update Hyperion Financial Reports (FR) to deliver clear and insightful financial information. Develop and manage integrations with FDMEE (Financial Data Management Enterprise Edition) for streamlined data loading processes. User Management and Security: Configure user and group security to ensure appropriate access controls within Hyperion applications. Data Analysis and Troubleshooting: Utilize Smart View ad hoc sheets for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting purposes. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain clear and open communication with business partners to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Collaborate effectively with internal IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Qualifications: Essential Skills: 6-8 years of experience in developing and supporting Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications. In-depth knowledge of Hyperion Planning and Essbase functionalities, including metadata design, calculations, and security. Proven experience in creating and modifying complex business rules and calculation scripts. Expertise in developing and maintaining Hyperion Financial Reports (FR). Experience with FDMEE integrations for data loading. Proficiency in configuring user and group security within Hyperion applications. Strong understanding of Smart View for data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business and IT stakeholders. Desirable Skills: Experience with other Hyperion products (e.g., Hyperion HFM, Hyperion PSA). Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., VBA, Python) for automation purposes.
