| Client- Maybelline Role- Cloud Security Engineer/ (AWS/ Terraform/Palo Alto a +) THERE ARE NOW 2 MAYBE 3 POSITIONS. The Manager is backfilling a senior cloud security engineer in AWS and Terraform. Any networking experience (Palo Alto, Cisco) is a plus but not required. They are interviewing and hiring this week or they lose budget for the position. THIS IS CLOUD SECURITY, NOT NETWORK (ROUTER/SWITCH) SECURITY. MANAGER WANTS SEE SENIOR (12+ YEARS preferred) CANDIDATES THAT ARE AWS CLOUD SECURITY ENGINEERS WITH AWS AND TERRAFOM. This will move fast and be a hire this week. The manager said he needs great experience with AWS, Ansible and Terraform. They want a minimum of 10 years of experience. Certifications are big for this client so the more the better. Candidates must me local to the New York or New Jersey area (No RELOCATION CONSIDERED) and be willing to go into the office two times a week in Midtown NYC. SPLUNK JOB DESCRIPTION: Improve the security posture of our infrastructure including our cloud environments Collaborate cross functionally to make design/strategy decisions and advocate for security improvements. Respond to infrastructure security alerts and perform investigations Evaluate cloud architectures for security related concerns, and consult on mitigation options.
