SKILLS: IBM Mainframe Systems and application programmer skill sets for over 30 years including: Installation, systems programming and application interface for CICS from Version 1.3 thru Transaction Server 5.1 Extensive experience in CICS, COBOL, Assembler, VSAM, JCL Spearheaded an AVAYA speech to text project using IBMs MQ as the middleware. Experience in SQL calls to multiple DB2 Databases Involved in maintaining an original Assembler based Customer Information System via CICS application. Created and maintained Assembler startup programs to initiate, monitor and terminate the CICS application Converted multiple Assembler programs to Cobol for easier and more available maintenance I updated our DFHPEP (Program Error Recovery Program) and DFHZNEP (VTAM Error Interface Program Updated CICS Auto-install program in Assembler for access by multiple devices and systems. Coded CICS startup and shutdown programs for DFH program list table Extensive use of CEDA for creating and updating CICS Resource Definitions for Files, Transactions, Terminals, Systems, Journals, etc. Extensive use of CECI and CEMT for testing, updating and terminating the CICS system. Extensive Cobol II programming accessing the Customer Information System via CICS and DB2 applications Created Batch Cobol programming to process daily transactions and reporting Converted hundreds of Cobol programs to Cobol II Created Batch Assembler programs to document statistical data for programs, transactions, logs and customer representatives for daily and monthly reporting Converted multiple Assembler programs to Assembler LE both batch and online using Assembler LE macros.
