Axiom Developer with GSD experience Princeton NJ Hybrid Need Local to NJ Candidate Within the Capital and Liquidity space, for someone with experience of dealing with large, complex sets of interrelated data. Previous work on projects requiring the sequential processing of disparate data sets will be helpful. Familiarity with Financial Products and Regulatory Reporting business and technology would be an advantage. The candidate will be part of the existing development team based in London focussed on US, UK and EU Regulatory Reporting. They will be expected to build on their knowledge of existing platforms and technologies and gain new knowledge in various financial instruments, risk calculations and regulatory requirements. We have Investment Firm Reporting for Germany and UK using Axiom and are embarking on a series of Regulatory system and infrastructure improvement projects, working with various teams within Jefferies. Along with projects and the new business requirement the candidate will need to support daily queries on trade and position data, MI reporting and quarterly submissions to the regulators. For the US we use the 15c-31 Broker Dealer calculations in Axiom and will need to support with further products being rolled out. Ultimately, the candidate will participate in all phases (requirements gathering to deployment) of the upcoming Regulatory projects. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities are: Implementation of regulatory reort in Axiom specifically GSD reporting Analysis for upcoming work and interface with Finance controllers / BAs Analyse, Develop, Test and support the User Acceptance phase. Develop technical skills and business knowledge in Regulatory compliance calculations and reporting Person Specification The following skills and experience are required for this role: Good Axiom toolset experience Experience in Global shareholder reporting GSD Good experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL Candidate should be comfortable in a Unix terminal environment. Previous experience of working in the Financial Services industry preferable Strong desire to learn and apply learnt knowledge Good interpersonal skills, written & verbal communication skills Desirable skills High level script language experience e.g. Python 2 or 3 Linux or Unix background with experience in Shell Scripting and use of command line tools Exposure to structured/unstructured data formats A team player, experience working with remote teams an advantage.
