Role: Sr. Java Developer Location: Menands, New York Duration: 4 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 6914 Client: NY State Description The Senior Software Developer will support the COVID Vaccine Provider Enrollment Application which allows prospective vaccine providers to register, providing CDC required fields and allowing review by Vaccine Program staff for eligibility and approval. This application allows for export of CDC required data for transmission, as well as an approval workflow for consideration of vaccine providers. There is also an Excel file upload and validation component to allow large pharmacies to provide data in upload format for integration. This consultant will also provide support to other COVID-19 vaccine systems as needed. Duties Design and code from requirements and functional specifications Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement Java applications Work with staff to ensure smooth and correct operations of any code or web services used by the application. Produce technical and user documentation as requested Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support Provide technical solutions for large scalable designs Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Mandatory Requirements Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. Experience (8+ Years) Requirements This is an 100% Onsite. 84 months experience with coding web technologies in a JEE environment, including Servlets, JSP, Java/J2EE, HTTP, HTML, XML, SQL, JDBC and application servers. 84 months experience with Model-View-Controller pattern and common frameworks such as Spring. 84 months experience with Oracle database servers and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating stored procedures, triggers, and other objects. 48 months experience with modern JavaScript and Typescript frameworks and advanced UI design. Angular 2.x and above is preferred. 36 months hands-on experience with RESTful web service development. 36 months hands-on experience with Java Server Faces, preferably Prime Faces.
