| From: Rajiv, Damcosoft [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position Title Scrum Master with Market Risk Location NY/NJ Hybrid Duration Contract Interview Process 1 Round internal interview and 1 client interview Job Description Job Description: As part of the Risk Technology department, the scrum master/PM will take part as a facilitator for technology teams, and a project manager for Market Risk IT initiatives. Main Responsibilities Agile Leadership: o Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more agile teams, ensuring agile practices are followed and understood. o Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. o Assist in tracking and removing impediments, fostering an environment for high team performance and continuous improvement. Project Management: o Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation, and status updates for the ongoing projects. o Collaborate with other project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Requirement Analysis: o Elicit and analyze business requirements from internal stakeholders regarding financial time series data management and analysis. o Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications. o Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project progress, design decisions, and Agile practices Solution Design: o Work closely with Risk Engineering and development teams to design solutions that meet business needs and leverage time series data effectively. o Define and validate the user stories and acceptance criteria for the solution. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in IT with more than 5 years in financial projects (preferably in the area of Market Risk) Good understanding of financial instruments and yield curves. Expertise in writing user stories with good acceptance criteria in Jira Good understanding of ETL and Data warehouse concepts with some hands on experience with data analysis Experience with managing Jira boards, Service Now dashboards, Confluence pages, Excel reporting, and creating and tracking KPIs Functional expertise in financial time series management Good communication and presentation skills Desired Qualifications Experience with Power BI and SQL Experience with any vendor time series management products Hands-on experience with data analysis using SQL and command line tools Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Management, or Engineering Keywords: business intelligence information technology New Jersey New York |
