Our client, a global hospitality firm with on-site services encompassing food, facilities management, and workplace & technical management services, is seeking Azure Project Manager (Infrastructure) to join their team on a 6+ month contract basis. Additional Notes: All visas are ok as long as their English is excellent and they are in EST (no OPT EADs) Years of Experience Required: Minimum 4-6 years experience in building Infrastructure automation and technologies to the Cloud. Minimum 2 years of experience as a senior engineer. Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). International experience a plus, ability to speak French, Spanish, and/ or Portuguese is not necessary but would be a plus. English required. Required Qualifications: Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles. Develop and maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, PowerShell scripts, and other automation tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management. Collaborate with development teams to establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment using Azure DevOps or similar tools. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and availability of Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, PaaS (ex: storage accounts, disks, app services, virtual networks), and Azure services. Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure infrastructure, including network security groups, firewall rules, access control, and encryption mechanisms. Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies, tools, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving infrastructure automation and DevOps practices. Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to technical discussions, development efforts across multiple teams and areas of responsibility, and infrastructure planning. Create technical documentation. Lead and mentor a growing DevOps team. Skills: DevOps processes and approach. Agile methodology especially scrum (epics, user stories, features, MVP). Cloud services Microsoft Azure (IaaS / PaaS). Version control software and job execution tools (Git, Repos). Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) practices, concepts, and tools. C# language and .Net framework. Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure CLI, Perl, Python, or similar technologies. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is a plus. Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and cloud architecture design patterns. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
